Oh. Hi, March.

I guess it makes sense that I feel like March totally snuck up on me. Right? I mean. February IS the shortest month of the year and I DID spend a lot of my time hibernating (thanks, longest winter ever).

Of course, some other exciting things happened to make February kick up its heels and move right along. The MOST exciting being, in my opinion, that I GOT THE JOB! The perfect job, the wonderful job, the job that’s here to launch my career and take me places and help me feel like I have a purpose beyond loving twitter and being super organized — that job is now MINE. And it’s crazy already and I love it. I am now a part of a company-wide mission to end childhood obesity with healthy food and fun programs, and I am SO EXCITED! Expect to see and hear way more about healthy food, healthy kids, healthy Asheville in general. It’s a new way of life for me.

And now, it’s a new month! Let’s start with some fun calendars, because they’re my favorite way to start any month. I’m going to showcase Christiane Engel again because I LOVE her March calendar, which you can download here.

Here’s another flickr find, available to download here. The design is less cutesy, but the message is encouraging, right? I’m 100% ready for spring to arrive, so I’m sort of into trying out this self-fulfilling prophecy wallpaper. Because March 1 is the first day of SPRING or ELSE, right? Right. Jump on it, springtime.

The third one for March is nice, simple, a little more minimalistic — definitely my usual taste in desktop wallpapers. Available to download here.

Edit: ONE MORE! I totally forgot I had bookmarked this fluffy fun guy — available to download here.

I’m going to skip the goals list and update this month — they’re safe and secure in my paper journal. Since I’ve started this new career (forty full hours a week, thankyouverymuch), the blog updates might come a little less frequently (as if they were ever officially frequent to begin with). I’m still going to keep taking pictures and cultivating my favorites from the web, but my priority for the month is going to be finding the balance between this new work life and my home with Josh and Rocky. I WILL, however, be blogging soon about how February was my luckiest month EVER — you’ll get to see the gorgeous love tees I won for us (from a contest on Cheyenne Schultz’s blog).

Until then, won’t you please join me in sending our spring vibes into the month? I’m really really ready for this whole cold, windy, bitter phase to be over. Aren’t you?
